Abandoned Buildings – Kelvedon Hatch Cold War Nuclear Bunker

Is anything scarier than the potential destruction of the human race? Well, to other humans, anyway.

My friend Steve and I visited a local weird spot, Kelvedon Hatch cold war nuclear bunker, for the Halloween video bonanza.

  1. Looks like a fun outing for all involved! When I used to work at a local university bookstore in Binghamton, NY, the creepy, dusty dungeon where all our overstock was stored adjoined a Fallout Shelter. When there wasn’t much going on we used to explore the funky tunnels down there. The walls were lined with cases of canned water from Anheuser-Bush and some thoroughly rotted out cots and a medical kit which had been cleaned out of the majority of necessities.I can’t say that I very safe down there but it was entertaining. The boss caught us drinking the water one day and banished us from our explorations. So we stopped doing them on the days he worked.
