Here is a list that has proved to be quite useful, and it comes with sections on advice. I had no idea there were so many magazines that did short stories, I thought I was going to have to keep trying to do those ‘Take a Break’ things so this was a relief. I never got anything into Take a Break, I think they got a bit freaked out by my tales of stalker romance and Satanic cults.
